R1 Battery Holder II Base Plate and Clipper
WORLD OF ROBOTS
This is the most flexible battery holder for R1 robot module to mount the 12V batteries of both 134*69*23 mm (such as PS-1230) and 98*43*52 mm (such as PS-1212) sizes. And it also has an additional accessory called 'clipper', which can tighten the battery perfectly with help of wing nuts. Not included are screws, washers and butterfly nuts. These are available separately in the R1 Battery Holder II Screw Set.

Design for 3D printing by FDM with PLA
The 3D printing process: FDM
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is the most widely used form of 3D printing at the consumer level. FDM works with a range of standard thermoplastics, such as ABS, PLA, and their various blends. The technique is well-suited for basic proof-of-concept models, as well as quick and low-cost prototyping of simple parts, such as parts that might typically be machined.
The material: PLA
Poly(lactic acid) or polylactic acid or polylactide (PLA) is a biodegradable and bioactive thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources.
High quality PLA, Classic Black
Features: Tensile resistant, abrasion-resistant, insensitive to stress corrosion cracking.
The quality: 100 µm
Quality is most important. We follow certain standards to develop products:
- ISO 9001:2015 design process
- Several iterations from prototypes to product
- Hole diameter according to EN 20273 technical standard
- Smooth edges
- Layer thickness: 100 µm layers
The design: simple and free of support-material
Our design focuses on economy and ecology by optimising FDM print parts to be free of support-material. Advantages of a design optimised for the FDM printing process are:
- Less material and less weight by avoiding support structures through intelligent design and testing
- Reduction of printing time consumption
- Reduction of post-processing time needed
- Reduction of cost

About WORLD OF ROBOTS

WORLD OF ROBOTS offers easy to use and extremely modular robotics platforms. Depending on robot modules the following robot-types exist: A base vehicle has a basic configuration of modules. A base vehicle can be expanded to a standard vehicle by advanced modules. A vehicle in which the best available modules are used, is given the elite status. Premium robots need not to be explored, but also cannot be improved. Their modules are fixed.
