Overview
USB to serial converter at 3.3V levels (5V tolerant receiver). Powered by the FT230X and capable of baud rates from 300 upto 3 Mbaud. Also included is a split end cable allowing easy connection to target.
Description
The USB-SER01 uses the FTDI FT230X chip. The VCP (Virtual Com Port) drivers for this are available directly from the FTDI website. Be sure to read the Installation Guides on that page. With the USB-SER01 plugged in and the drivers installed the module will appear as another com port on your computer. The USB 5v power is connected though to the JST connector and can be used to power your additional circuits. Compatible with 3.3v and 5v TTL systems.
