The HOKUYO URG-04LX-UG01, a SOKUIKI sensor for intelligent robots, performs as the robot's eye. It has a revolutionarily low price. It is a laser range finder for autonomous robots operating indoors and best for students and researchers who are getting involved in robotics. It runs on USB bus power.
The main specifications are: supply voltage 5 V (Supplied from USB), measurement distance 4 m, field view 240° and interface USB.
The main features are: Light weight (160g). Low-power consumption (2.5W) for longer working hours. Wide-range (5600mm×240°). Accuracy(±30mm).* Distance and angle data output with high angular resolution (0.352°).
* For distance above 1,000mm, accuracy is ±3%.
